Ladies Tennis Holiday Party

Memorial Northwest Ladies’ Tennis Christmas Party was held Friday, December 4th. The snow falling outside made the party very festive.  A delicious lunch was served, including a smorgasbord of desserts!  A big thanks to Beryle Chafin, Kelley Craft for hosting the event, and Hellena Cardus for soliciting the door prize gifts.  The tennis gals were generous, as usual, each bringing a toy to donate to Toys for Tots.

The MNW USTA Woman's 3.0 Tennis Team completed a fun and exciting season this summer.  The Team finished 2nd place (by only 1 set!) in the Summer League.  This qualified the team to compete at the Lee LeClear Tennis Center here in Houston for the City Wide Championship.  Again the team finished in 2nd place.  This win would lead the girls to the Little State Tournament in Corpus Christi, TX.  The team played 5 matches in the tournament and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
